FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR TERM THREE

You are important.

Teachers can do a lot, the one thing they can’t do is be you, you are important, and your child loves to be with you, not for anything special just because they love you.

School starts at 8.55am.

Students gain a sense of belonging by being able to be part of the group in the morning as opposed to joining the group later in the day.

School uniform is important.

Students feel a sense of belonging when they are part of a group, a uniform helps to develop this.

Lunch box contents are important.

Fuel for a student’s body is food. Processed food, food in packets is detrimental to student’s learning when consumed everyday at a high degree. FRESH is best.

Your child’s teacher is there for you.

The best person to contact if you are worried or concerned about your child is your child’s teacher. They have significant insight into their learning and social skills.
