WELLBEING @ ST PAT'S
PERSERVERANCE
I sit here taking deep breaths as I begin typing this article for the newsletter after it has been deleted. Welcome to my world. Great a real life opportunity to practise PERSERVERANCE. The character strength of Perseverance is not giving up when things get tricky. At St Pat's, all learning asks that our students persevere. Students persevere when learning something new, when they listen to others both inside and outside of the classroom. On the climbing frame, I am constantly being invited to look at the latest trick whether it is hanging upside down without holding on or just climbing to the highest point. It is so rewarding as a young child to show an adult how they have mastered a new skill. Their smile is their signature of being proud.
Challenge: Be aware this week of where in your life you are persisting.
Enjoy your long weekend.
